Why Life Seems Very Tough Sometimes?
“Tough Times Never Last, Tough People Do” -Robert H. Schulle
I read this quote a long time ago. The only problem I felt was—how do you have patience when everything is going against you? Sometimes the struggle period doesn’t end. They say that when you’re on the verge of giving up, that’s exactly when you shouldn’t. But mentally, it’s very challenging.
We generally don’t talk about mental toughness. Yet it’s a prerequisite for any endeavor. It’s not easy to buck up after every frustrating day, especially when tomorrow’s uncertainty drives you crazy. Many people say, “Don’t take tension, things will work out. Enjoy life.” But enjoying life while having problems everywhere sometimes feels unworthy.
I don’t know who installed the software that says you have to be “worthy” to live life. Life itself is a festival, and we should just celebrate it. But without money, simply following that idea doesn’t work. The constant fear of losing everything drives you crazy—and the worst part is, you can’t show it to others.
We all need someone to tell, “I can’t do it. Please help me.” But the problem is, you can’t share it with others. The only way left is the God way. Sometimes you ask, “Why am I facing such problems, God?” We accept everything—then why does life push us to the edge of giving up?
Most people who want to achieve big but aren’t able to produce results find it super frustrating. Life feels boring, monotonous, and joyless. Then we try to escape through smoking, drinking, sex, masturbation, binge-watching, constant content consumption, and various other things.
Why are we not content with ourselves? Why do things seem to matter more than we do?
We’ve all heard quotes like, “Don’t ask God, ‘Why me?’ Say, ‘Try me.’”
But the only question is—why?
Why can’t life be simple? Or if it is simple, why doesn’t it seem to be?
